It doesn't seem possible that Zoë has been a part of our lives for almost as long as we anticipated her arrival! It has been a quick 8 months. She is surprising us every day with new tricks and sounds, etc. Earlier today I was in the kitchen and she was sitting in the doorway. She rolled onto her tummy (which was no surprise...she never sits still) but the next time I looked, she was sitting up again. This was a first, whether I saw it or not! As we wrap up our time in Cambridge over the next month or two, we'll probably be taking lots of pictures. Here are some from the last week or so.
Our good friend, Vanessa (aka Auntie V) is a great photographer and took these pictures over the weekend to mark Zoë's 8th month, thanks Vanessa! You really captured so many of her great facial expressions :)
These were taken in the back garden of Tyndale House where we live. Check out the beautiful English rose garden in the background. I will really miss this place.

Upside down baby!

Upside down kisses...

We were trying to capture how loooong her eyelashes are here. You just have to see them.
Here are a few more that we've taken recently:
Baby Z's friend 'big Zoe' feeding her her lunch :)
We've been working on our "chewing" even though we don't have any actual teeth yet. Here she is working on little pieces of a baby rice cake (sounds gross, but she loves them)....
