May 8th...Second midwife appointment

Throughout much of the UK, midwifes are assigned and they are your main medical contact throughout your pregnancy. We have a wonderful midwife, Lynne, who came to our flat today for Char's second visit. She did a routine check-up and we also got to hear the baby's heartbeat.  It's still so crazy to us that she comes to US...a girl could get used to this kind of treatment. And since Char works right downstairs, it really couldn't get any easier.
